Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Keith Lovett. I am a sports, music and event photographer from Elkton, Maryland.
I wish I had some cool story about owning a toy camera when I was 5, and falling in love with the camera. I don’t. Instead it was really simple. I got my first 35mm film camera about 10 years ago. One day I was taking pictures at a youth football game and snapped a picture of a football tackle where the players spit shot out of his mouth. Who do you think the lucky guy is that caught that picture?
Yes that gross spit stopped in the air like a million dollar film effect. You got it, me. And that right there was the start of Keith Lovett Photography. Starting out as the guy who tried to capture spit pictures. 10 years later I am still taking spit pictures. youth sports, college football players, rock stars and even the occasional model. Well maybe not spit shots, but you get the point.
As the years went by, the need to get a better shot continued to become more important to me. I have developed a passion for creating a perfect image. And my goal is to leave you with a piece of that passion. It's the world of photography. It is a world that wakes you up in the middle of the night to take pictures of stars.
